This section is for students, parents or anyone who may need or want information on the Tallahassee Towing Ordinances. Due to being questioned by a tow-a-way company about this web-site and told an 'or' had been changed to an 'and' I'm posting direct links to the sites I used to get the information posted. I hope this is helpful to everyone who needs this legal information!!

This link will help you find the towing ordinances for about every city in the USA who has their own towing laws. Half way down you'll see 'read or view from the library, go there. Click on the State, then on the city or county you would like to learn about. Under search, you can use words such as towing, roam towing, tow-a-way, legal towing or wrecker.
In July the Towing & Taxi companies asked for an increase in rates. I'm proud to report: Students from FSU, TCC & FAMU were present and one by one told the Tallahassee City Commission how they have been being treated by the tow-a-way companies. The rotation towers were given a rate increase, the tow-a-way rates stayed the same, $88.00, and their actions are going to be looked into!
While there are only six (6) 'Roam Towing Companies' in the City of Tallahassee, it only takes one to not follow the rules & regulations to make all towing companies look bad in the publics eyes, mostly our students. Just this week Danny was on campus to unlock a car, a young male yelled out to him "I bet nobody likes you around here" he wasn't even in a wrecker, he had gone on his motorcycle, yet he had our company shirt on, with his wrecker permit in clear view, as per the law.
Come on you guys, give him a break, we are fighting our hardest to HELP, that's why we have this web site! In the past we have always towed a float in the homecoming parade. Yes, we have had our share of boo's near the end. This year I am hoping the group Cliff A. has started will build a float & give us the honor to pull the float!!
UPDATED ON 08/11/08 We went on campus during Friday nights Graduation to tow a car that had broken down on a student! A special thank-you to those of you who saw us and waved, without giving us a hard time. Thanks Lisa
