Releasing Vehicles

If your car is drivable after a crash, PLEASE move it out of the flow of traffic. They will still be able to tell who is at fault.

While they are on their way to you: Get your  DL, Registration and Insurance Cards all together. That is the first things they will need.

Leave your car keys in the vehicle, take the rest with you.

If you have passengers with you, have their names, address and phone numbers ready. (This is to make sure they are covered for medical care with an insurance company, they also can let the Officier know what they saw if asked)

If anyone else who saw the crash stops, get their name & number if they are in a hurry.

WARNING: Do not honk your horn while traffic is being help up by either clearing the road from a crash or in any place they are directing traffic.
